It was central to the Diamond which is handy to the bars and restaurants in nearby streets.

The property was fine but the windows could do with been modernised and double glazed for a bit of sound proofing as the noise from the street was unreal into the small hours of the morning, I know it's not the fault of the property.

Quay is brilliant place to stay , beautiful rooms& quay 8 was decorated well for. Halloween, I would highly recommend quay 8 & hope to stay again before Christmas 😊

Tv is at a difficult angle to watch from the bed and gave my husband a sore neck /head trying to do so

Proximity to work and car park. Clean and all basic needs catered for. Lovely welcome in reception with the info, chairs and reading material

Windows need to be double glazed. The traffic sound in the room was noisy as even though windows were closed it felt like they were open.

Farrah went above & beyond, she traveled in to me on arrival helped all my cases in — guildane on car park locations moved my accommodation around- Staff is incredible so kind friendly helpful, bought me bananas! Rooms are spotless location is beside everything great value

Convenient for transport.. Central location.

As you would expect there is some traffic noise. However the central location is good.

The location was excellent and suited my needs perfectly. The room was well equipped for self catering and ideally located for exploring and eating out in Derry. The check in arrangements were easy to follow.. thank you.

Housed in a lovely victoria building. Handy location to train station and town centre. Surrounded by cafes and shops. Staff very friendly, helpful and welcoming (especially Farah and Charlotte). Check-in very simple and easy to navigate. Good size of bedroom and bathroom. Kitchenette is a bonus when you fancy a cuppa. It even had a microwave and fridge. Crockery and utensils all spotless. Liked the idea of a dressing table, chair and mirror outside on landing, which was shared between 2 rooms.
What did you not like about your stay in the property or location?
Small but important criticisms are noise level from street - particularly at weekend. Perhaps further window insulation would help reduce this. Although ear plugs were provided free of charge. Saying this, I intend to return on a weekday with my daughter. Our bed felt small - not quite double size. Whilst this may help maximise spaciousness of room - it felt a bit snug for my friend and I sharing. My friend had a comfortable night's sleep but I felt the mattress on my side was a bit sunken - perhaps a new mattress or mattress topper would help improve this. All in all, we found it totally adequate for our needs for one night's stay and as said, I will be rebooking for my daughter and I to enjoy some retail therapy. Thank you

The rooms was perfect and it's good that it's self check in. The property is close to all the shops and pubs. We have stayed in quay 8 a number of times. Staff are always on the other end of the phone if you need help.
